Journey into Silentmarck The Empowerment Center
Decades after what I once viewed as a deeply personal and painfully shameful chapter of my life, my abortion experience has become the guiding force behind my vision and purpose for Silentmarck The Empowerment Center. It has shaped the intentionality, patience, compassion, and love for humanity my clients experience as I walk alongside them in a space where they feel safe to confront their own challenges. Here, acknowledgement and acceptance of their stories meet, inviting healing from places that once felt shameful, guilty, unworthy, embarrassing, or dark, breaking the cycle of silence and opening the way towards wholeness.
Today, Silentmarck The Empowerment Center stands as a beacon of hope, a lighthouse, for those who feel lost yet long to find their way to safety, healing, and renewal. My heart’s mission is simple: I want every client I serve to live a life where they feel empowered, free, and confident to shine the light within. At Silentmarck, every story is respected and honored, every voice is heard, every client feels seen, and every step in the journey toward healing is met with unwavering support, patience, and compassion.
Where Faith Meets Healing
For years, I hid in silence, burdened by shame, fear of judgment, and the belief that God could not forgive me. I didn’t feel worthy of His love, grace, or forgiveness. That began to change when I met a group of women in Miami who courageously shared their testimonies of God’s forgiveness after abortion. Their courage planted a seed of hope in me, showing me that it often takes a healed person to help guide someone who is lost or hurting toward the light.
Today, I speak boldly about my healing journey. Through faith, I discovered that my abortion was not the root of my pain, but a symptom of deeper wounds—family secrecy, feelings of rejection, feeling unsafe to express myself, and moments of profound loneliness. Facing these truths became the doorway to my healing.
In 2017, God gave me the name Silentmarck—a place where shame and guilt no longer hold power over silence. Step by step, prayer by prayer, and breath by breath, I have found my light within and created a space where others can do the same.
